The following Masters-level courses at UCC and Independent Colleges have been approved by the IPMO. 

University College Cork, Law LLM (Alternative Dispute Resolution) 1 Year Full-time; 2 Years Part-time – September 2025 – students who successfully complete the course are qualified mediators and eligible to apply for membership of the IPMO.

Independent College, Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution, September 2025 - students who successfully complete the course are qualified mediators and eligible to apply for membership of the IPMO.

(IMI)-accredited foundational mediation training courses. These are courses which IMI approves as "Qualifying Assessment Programmes" (QAPs). 

Mediation Foundation Ireland are taking bookings for their IMI and IPMO-accredited online mediation training courses of 2025. There are 4 courses offered in 2025 as per the dates below: 

Material for assessment is submitted within 3 weeks of the final training date. More information can be found on the MFI website. 

As per our admission rules, certification on this course, which involves passing the assessment, will qualify you to become an IPMO NQ member.

ARC Mediation are offering an IPMO-accredited Family Mediation course in July 2024. 

The course is being delivered online with training on the following days: 

• Day 1 – online – full day – Thursday 11th July from 9am to 6pm
• Day 2 – online – full day – Friday 12th July from 9am to 6pm
• Day 3 – online – half day on Thursday 18th July from 2pm to 6pm
• Day 4 – online – half day on Friday 19th July from 2pm to 6pm
• Day 5 – online – half day on Thursday 25th July from 2pm to 6pm
• Day 6 – online- half day on Friday 26th July from 2pm to 6:30pm

The course syllabus involves over 32.5 hours of face-to-face training, supplemented with reading material & video lectures. Applicants must have completed mediation training such that they would be eligible to be an IPMO-accredited mediator at NQ level or higher. See IPMO eligibility details.
