Eligibility For MembershipFor the remainder of 2023 IPMO will accept applications for membership where the mediation programme completed was/is accredited by the International Mediators Institute (IMI) or the Mediators' Institute of Ireland. Categories of MembershipThe description & membership fees below apply for 2021 to 2023. IPMO Qualified NQs are mediators who are newly qualified or who have not yet completed enough cases to become Qualified Q members. Qualified Q members typically have completed 5-19 cases. Certified members have completed at least 20 cases. Membership fees become due and renewals are processed by the start of February each year. Applicants that join after July 31st in their first year of membership will be charged half the full-year rate for that year only.

IPMO Qualified Mediator NQNewly Qualified Mediators are members who have completed training and have not yet had any experience of practice. Applicants who wish to be accredited as an IPMO Qualified Mediator NQ must be resident in Ireland and;
Qualified Mediator NQ Members will be required to re-register on an annual basis and must;
IPMO Qualified Mediator QQualified Mediators Q; is someone who has demonstrated real-world practice experience of at least 5 cases (sole or co-mediation)/50 hours, or has successfully completed an accredited supervision programme. Applicants who wish to be accredited as an IPMO Qualified Mediator Q must be resident in Ireland and;
Qualified Mediator Q Members will be required to re-register on an annual basis and must;
IPMO Certified MediatorMediators who wish to be accredited as a Certified Mediator must be resident in Ireland and; Be assessed and approved by the International Mediation Institute “IMI” as a Certified Mediator OR
Certified Mediator Members will be required to re-register and pay the appropriate fee on an annual basis and to retain Certified status must;
